Brenna Mathieson on having babies as a PhD student and working in child protection
Brenna is one of those people that oozes stability and competence. Brenna has also had quite the few years of PhD, becoming a parent, and steadily excelling in the uncertainty of being a casual academic. Brenna's PhD build on her experiences as a child protection caseworker and we have some big chats about that. Full disclosure, I have the delight of being Brenna's PhD supervisor.
There is some talk in this episode about miscarriage and postnatal depression and anxiety. We encourage you to take care of yourself in responding to this.
